While face-to-face Scouting is suspended due to the coronavirus, we will be sharing a range of suggested activities for our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to give a go at home. So to avoid hearing ‘I’m bored’ every 30 seconds, encourage your child to learn new skills and have some fun in #TheGreatIndoors.
Some activities will count towards badge requirements – so that these activities can be recorded, parents will need to either upload evidence (photo/ video/ document) in the ‘badges’ section of OSM, post on our closed 1st Barnham Facebook group or email your child’s section leader.
Some Beavers, Cubs and Scouts may have already completed the badge requirement linked to the suggested activity. Parents can view which requirements have and have not been completed in OSM parent portal…. but there is nothing to stop your child (and adults) doing the activity!
Note OSM will not allow you to upload evidence for badge requirements already recorded as completed.
Badges completed at home will be presented in person when our usual sessions resume.
